Application:
Calcium nitrate is basically used as a quick acting fertilizer for acidic soils and as a quick calcium supplement for plants. The electronics industry is also used to coat the cathode. Used as analytical reagent and flame material. It's also used to make nitrates.
Agricultural calcium nitrate is a typical rapid foliar fertilizer, which can be successfully applied to acidic soil, and the calcium in the fertilizer can neutralize the acid in the soil. It is particularly convenient to fertilize winter crops, to fertilize grain crops after (qualitative) additional, to use too much alfalfa growth, to use sugar beet, feed beet, poppy, corn, green feed mixture and to effectively eliminate calcium deficiency in plants.

Application Method:
1. It is more suitable for topdressing in dry fields. However, it should be noted that the nutrient loss of calcium nitrate is relatively easy, can be used in small amounts, and generally do not apply before rain.
2. As a base fertilizer, it can be applied in combination with organic fertilizer, phosphate fertilizer (superphosphate) and potash fertilizer, which can obviously improve the fertilizer efficiency. But should not be mixed with superphosphate alone, in order to reduce the phosphate fertilizer efficiency.
3. Due to the low nitrogen content of calcium nitrate, the amount used is more than that of other nitrogen fertilizers.
Notes:
1, Paddy field is not suitable for application, because calcium nitrate belongs to nitrate, easy to be lost with water.
2, Can not be mixed with fresh barnyard manure, compost, because the organic acid generated in the process of fertilizer fermentation, will make calcium nitrate decomposition into nitric acid, causing fertilizer nutrient loss.NPK Fertilizer cost
